UNI 8840 A curved spring washers are uninterrupted formed disks in a curved configuration that are non-directional allowing the screw and or nut to be tightened in a clockwise or counterclockwise manner.

UNI 8840A curved spring lock washers are spring washers primarily used with round head screws, where a low locking force is required.  Curved washers also exert light thrust loads and can be used to absorb axial end play.
