PN 82006 flat washers, also named plain washers, with chamfer, are a thin disk with a concentric hole and are one of the most popular plain washers.  “With chamfer” indicates that the outside edge on one side is beveled from 30° – 45°.

When placed under a nut or the head of a screw, the washer increases the bearing surface area and consequently distributes the clamping force over a larger area. That result is desirable when working with soft materials and holes that are too large or oddly shaped to properly support the screw head or nut.

PN82006 Flat Washers may be the same as DIN 125 B. DIN 433 is a smaller OD and DIN 9021 is a larger OD washer compared to DIN 125.
